Thuy began her visual storytelling directing music videos.

In 2021 she directed her first short film 303.77, produced by Studio Noah, a story that takes inspiration from the wartime stories told to her by her grandfather, a former soldier who had survived the war.

With an aching soul to wonder and wander, part of Thuy’s love of filmmaking is to make the world more visually beautiful, one frame at a time. Her biggest career goal is to explore more about documentary and also to direct a feature film with a desire to create a compelling and award-winning story.

A feature length adaptation of 303.77 is currently in development by Studio Noah.
